What’s Your “Olympic Motivation?”

photo credit: www.farmfoodieandfitness.comWhile we lose most of our motivation for the entire 17 days the Olympics keep us plastered to the tv, we can take so much away from watching these incredible athletes and all they have to offer. You can use their accomplishments as your motivation!

I have even come out of my cubby-hole to my make shift desk at the kitchen table, while I intently try to stare down at my computer and  write, I continually glance up to watch that cutie, Ryan Lochte go for gold or stare open-mouthed at the “fab five” as they made all their dreams come true in gymnastics, and of course we can’t forget how incredible our “Baltimore Bullet,” Michael Phelps is, as he’s accomplished
everything that he has ever set his mind to in swimming and now he is the most decorated Olympian of all time! That’s insane! And he has a couple more chances to make himself that much better!

These two weeks can offer so much to any part of your life, setting goals, reaching for your dreams, finding inspiration, searching to find your way, seeking motivation, investing time in yourself, discovering what’s important, taking control of your health, life, and destiny.

You don’t have to be an Olympic athlete to find your “Olympic Motivation.” The sky is the limit! We hold ourselves back by not reaching our full potential. What do you have to lose? No one can deny you of your dreams or what you were meant to do, unless you let them. You can take control of your life and future, all you have to do is “Carpe diem!” And you’ll find yourself standing on top of the podium wearing your gold metal!
